Stones Corner Marine attended the 2019 Brisbane Boat Show with a comprehensive display of Bar Crusher and Sea Jay aluminium boats. As leading manufacturers, both brands’ line-ups were received very well. The common feedback was that Bar Crusher and Sea Jay boats’ superior quality of workmanship was apparent.
The Bar Crusher boats line-up included models from the hard top, cuddy cabin, and bow rider ranges in varying sizes from 7.80 metres down to 5.35 metres. The folding roof on the cuddy cabin models was always popular, allowing for lower overall height when considering storage options.
Other key models this year for us were the 615BR (bow rider) and the 585HT (hard top). In regard to features, the matte black paintwork on the 651C (cuddy cabin) was a highlight, and the lockable cabin on the 780HT was popular.
The Sea Jay boats line-up was made special with the launch of the new Sea Jay Territory model. The Territory displayed was 4.93 metres long, was of side console configuration, and featured clutter-free decks and horizontal rod storage. Whilst the model name Sea Jay Territory is not new, the new model carries all the same features that made the original boat successful and has added key new features including a full pod high-back transom and side console.
Other key models included the Sea Jay Ranger Sports, the Avenger Sports, and Bay Seeker. There was also lots of interest in the custom-coloured wraps fitted to the Sea Jay Boats and the fact that all boats were fitted with Minn Kota electric motors.
All boats from Bar Crusher and Sea Jay were fitted with either Garmin or Humminbird electronics. The trailers being showcased included models from Easytow trailers, Redco trailers, and Sea Jay – Dunbier trailers.
