Shift Dampener System – Yamaha’s Shift Dampener System (SDS), built into selected Yamaha propellers, delivers smooth and quiet operation when shifting in and out of gear by absorbing the force that is created.

Single Ram Power Trim and Tilt – The compact and light-weight single ram power, trim and tilt (PTT) unit and bracket have been developed exclusively for this engine.

1832cc Four-Cylinder Engine – The 16 valve, 1.8 litre, dual overhead camshaft design delivers superior efficiency in the transfer of intake and exhaust gasses throughout the RPM range. The F115 incorporates larger intake and exhaust valves which enhance response, efficiency and mid-range torque.

81MM Cylinder Bore – The cylinder bore size has been increased from 79mm to 81mm which provides more engine torque. A larger valve was adopted for increased transfer efficiency for both intake and exhaust.

Counter Rotating Propeller – This engine offers a counter rotating propeller option for improved steering control for twin engine setups, ensuring the vessel maintains a ‘neutral helm’ at any speed.

Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection – The Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, injects the right amount of fuel into the combustion chamber at the optimum timing, for ‘first-time, every-time’ hot and cold starting, improved fuel efficiency, excellent throttle response.

Conventional – 6Y5 Round Gauge – Yamaha’s most affordable Tachometer and Speedometer gauges offer RPM, Trim Angle, Oil Pressure, Overheat Warning, Trip Hours, Total Operating Hours, Speed, Trip Distance, Time, Fuel Level, Low-Fuel Warning and Battery Voltage/Warning.

CL5 Premium Touchscreen Display – The all-new, low profile Yamaha Command Link CL5 touchscreen display is small in size but big on information, features and capability. This display is suitable for all Yamaha Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) engines and can monitor up to four outboards. It’s sophisticated, modern design features intuitive operation and matches the latest boat console trends, while its compact size leave more room on the console for other electronics.

Offset Crankshaft – The crankshaft design is offset 5mm from the centre of cylinder for more efficient transfer of power to the crankshaft.

Variable Trolling Control – Yamaha’s variable trolling control allows the skipper to precisely adjust the engine’s idling speed from 600 to 1000 RPM in 50 RPM increments. The ability to finely tune the trolling speed allows fisherman to perfect their lure presentation when chasing different species of fish.
